We have known Heather Smith for several years. She has a wonderful personality that is easy to connect with. She is very compassionate and highly knowledgeable in her field. Recently my husband and I have been learning from Heather how to deal with some issues that our 20-year-old daughter has been going through. She has given us some perspective on how to understand our daughter's situations. She really helps people see the multiple sides of life and that there is positive to every situation. She is a genuine person and a positive influence in my family'.

Heather is an effective communicator and understands that there are a variety of ways to help children as well as adults who learn differently. While she was a caseworker at Community in Schools, I had the privilege to sit in on some of her lessons with her classes. She fully engaged each child and used different tools / techniques to help them reach their potential. I was also able to see her strengths shine through while attending the young adult group at MDPC where she acted as the director. Heather was fully prepared with each lesson and made it a point to connect in some way to everyone in the room. She does have a unique way while engaging and connecting with others. It's a good feeling to know I had an approachable, trustworthy, and confidential director. She was looking out for me in the most positive way. She would do what she could to help anyone in need and make sure they came out feeling stronger and more confident. After my coaching session with Heather, I realized I can have an ally who can help me reach my goals. I was asked questions and given strategies to implement that have already helped me in more way than I thought possible. I look forward to seeing Heather help others, especially children.

Heather has been working with me for about twelve weeks. She’s been instrumental in helping me to begin to make some very deep changes in my life. I have had issues with both ADD and dyslexia for my whole life, long before they had names for them. Her unique insight into the challenges faced by folks who learn differently has been very effective in aiding my search for personal success. Her patience and compassion are key components to her style of coaching. She genuinely cares about my outcome. I would recommend her highly.

Heather has worked with our three boys for the past year. She has the ability to meet a child's needs. In addition she has the creativity to find and develop each child's strengths. The kids love her, which is the best litmus test.

I met Heather this winter while working beside her in Park City, Utah. I was faced with one of the most challenging obstacles I’ve ever had to endure in my young adult life. While I had no family or close friends surrounding me, Heather was generous with her time to be not only a friend during a difficult time, but to take it upon herself, as a true leader, to mentor and coach me. Her selflessness truly floored me as she showed immeasurable support and compassion for my situation. Through listening, asking questions, and sharing her own life experiences she supported my emotional wellbeing. Through the support she gave and the questions she asked I was able to pinpoint the positive and negative aspects of my personality. Heather is incredibly gifted in her use of constructive criticism and her genuine kindness and concern. She is eternally appreciated as I continue to work through a difficult time and to make the positive changes needed.
